Serendipity Layout

So, after doing the Springtime layout below, I went looking through my stash of papers and found the Serendipity collection. I just love the blues and browns of this fun paper pack. After getting some pictures developed from Shutterfly, I made two more pages for my album.

Hehe, I took pictures of the Dimensional Elements that I used in this layout. I sponged them with bamboo to match the paper color and they came out really good. I also used one of our new embellishments called Clear Inspiration tags. We've had the Clear Inspirations before, but the one that I used below is new for the Summer. If you can see closely, it has words on it. I am SO going to buy more of these when the new Idea Book comes out.

Happy Springtime Layout

I "lifted" this from the Spring 2008 Idea Book (page 8). I used cardstock from the Spring Harmony combo pack: Key Lime, Baby Pink, and Heavenly Blue. I sponged the edges with a Chocolate Stamp Pad. To get the stitched-look, I used the stamp set "Simple Stitches".

For only the 2nd time, I used Dimensional Elements: Flower Garden. I sponged them with an Amethyst stamp pad and after just a few minutes, the dimensional elements looked very smooth in color. (I'm definitely going to be using more DE's in my scrapbooking/card-making projects because they add something extra beautiful to the projects.) Then, I topped each one with a button from the Spring Craft buttons set.

This layout was alot of fun to make!!!
