Altered Notebook using More To Adore Lvl 2 Paper Pack

While on holiday, I've been creating up a storm. Haha! This altered notebook was a really fun project to work on!

I used a 6" x 3" spiral notebook and covered the front and back using the More to Adore Level 2 Paper Pack. The only thing non-CTMH was the ribbon. I used creme chiffon 3/4" wide ribbon as well as 1/8" inch wide white and cranberry ribbon that I found at Michaels. It came out really super cute. I'm planning on showing my group this notebook and another project (its a surprise) for my January workshop to get ready for Valentine's Day. :)

Ugh...figuring out slideshows is fun!

I've tried a few times this morning to figure out how to actually put descriptions with my slideshows and it always messes up the slideshow.

So, I'll put the descriptions here. :)

For the Chocolate Bases Pages using Best Friends Forever Level 1 Kit:
I finally bought another Base Pages kit at my last team meeting with my upline. I've been wanting to do a full Base Pages workshop but just haven't gotten around to it. I also bought the Best Friends Forever Level 1 Kit which comes with cardstock, 4 basic layout pages and My Stickease (sticker pack). So, over the past week, I've tackled putting together a full 16 page Scrapbooking Kit. 12 pages come in the Base Pages kit and 4 from the Level 1 kit. It took me about 5 hours to do but that includes time writing down cutting instructions and measurements, etc. To do the actual workshop, it will probably take about 2.5-3 hours.

For the 2008 Consultant's Artwork:
This is artwork that some other consultant's made from my last team meeting. It's fun seeing how everyone creates something very unique. All the artwork is using the Stamp of the Month sets from the Spring 2008 Idea Books. It's great too since I can show my customers actual artwork of the SOTM sets rather than just seeing it in the Idea Book.

CTMH - New Spring 2008 Idea Book

The new Close To My Heart Spring 2008 Idea Book is finally here. Beginning January 1, you can order the new products. And man!!! There are so many things that I want out of this new book. The new black and creme (Silhouette) paper is so pretty and classic looking. And the new flower prints are awesome! And the new Word Puzzle stamps are cool...another thing to start collecting. It looks like they are "month" specific and hopefully CTMH puts new ones out for each and every upcoming month, because I'm definitely collecting those stamp sets. Haha, I've already got a huge list going of what I want!!
