2012 Christmas Tag Swap Pictures

Wow, a whole year has passed since I last blogged.  I know this because my last blog entry was from the 2011 Christmas Tag Swap.  Whoa!  Time sure flies by FAST!  Anyways, as in past years, I've hosted a tag swap for the holidays.  Its a time for sharing tag ideas while collecting enough tags to use for the upcoming holiday season.  Its a fun way to be creative and share at the same time.  Thanks to everyone (Mom, Auntie Louise, Tricia, Sue R, Sue S, CC, Sharon, Sheri, Michelle, Robin and Nickalli) that participated!  The tags came out fantastically beautiful!!!

Christmas Tag Swap

Every so often, I hold a card swap.  There are guidelines for participating in a card swap - generally a theme is provided and what type of stamps, embellishments or paper can be used.  The amount of the same card that each person makes will depend on how many people participate.  Once I have received everyone's cards, I redistribute them according to how many people participated.  It's really a fun way to get ideas and get cards back in return.

For November, I held a Christmas tag swap.  Ten ladies participated and made several tags each.  Everyone will be receiving approximately 30 different tags back.  It is really special when you receive a gift with a handmade tag and that is why I love holding this tag swap.  Plus, all the ladies that participated are SO creative...I love seeing everyone's projects.
