Day 2 of CTMH Regional Celebration in Vegas!

Creative Day!!
When I arrived at the conference room, this is what was waiting for me!! I heard birds chirping, music playing and could feel a ray of sunshine coming down on me and these brand new products!!! Haha!!

We received 4 new stamp sets: Extreme Caps, Party Invitation, Friendship Word Puzzle and Angel Whispers. And I LOVE all of these stamps. Click on the pics to see a closer look at the rest of the stuff that I received.


Throughout this whole day, we made 4 - 2pg layouts, a mini album and 4 cards. After all of this plus a few breaks and an included lunch, I was totally "created-out". Haha!

This is my favorite layout that we made. Its using Paper Garden paper pack and dimensional elements that we sponged and embellished. The "o" in the word memories is actually a brand new product called Clear Inspiration: Tags. Woohoo...these will be available in the upcoming Idea Book.



This next girly layout, we used the Good Times paper pack, Clear Inspiration Tags and the dimensional elements again. Fun stuff!!!



The following 2 layouts are more geared towards guys. Using the Good Times paper pack (showing how versatile it is - can be used for guys or girls) and the Its a Guy Thing paper pack.

Day 1 of CTMH Regional Celebration in Vegas!

Tricia, Mom (taking the picture) and I are sitting waiting for our plane to Vegas. Whoo hoo!!! They decided to tag along and go around Vegas while I went to the Close To My Heart Regional Celebration.

Day 1 of Regionals Checking In - They gave me this awesome tshirt and tote.

Day 1 of Regionals was all about teaching us about the business of Scrapbooking and Stamping. There had to be at least 300 people in attendance listening to the different speakers from CTMH.

During part of the business day, we worked on a scrapbook layout using the stamp set Thoughts of You (D1255) and here's a picture of how it came out. Oh my gosh, the CTMH helpers came by with plastic bags full of everything we needed to complete these projects (paper ALL pre-cut for us, stamp sets, and embellishments). All I had to bring with me to Regionals was stamp pads, acrylix, cutting tools and a few other things. They supplied everything else...it was amazing...like Christmas!!!
